Technologies!

Modern teachers can still make the full usefulness of traditional technologies. DVDs and Video cassettes are still useful for videos that help to give students an understanding of a topic. A projector is one of the best real-time projections that we can use to give students examples of how to move forward with an assignment.

Wifi is one of the new technologies that can be useful in the classroom. Bringing a web resource to life on the projection screen can be most useful, especially in classrooms where there are visual learners. I will encourage the students who are studying anatomy to use the web resource, A.D.A.M. in order to help them understand where parts belong in relation to others.

Introduction

Hello, there! Welcome to my science classroom. I am Ms. Williams, and I teach Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, and Zoology.  Whichever class you have me for, I hope we will have a great time together. I am a certified veterinary technician, and I have decided to alter my career path in order to bring a brighter future to the world of science by teaching.

I prefer to work with my students to give them a better understanding of the world around us. I prefer to teach in a more interactive way. I encourage you to ask questions and give us subjects for discussions. Science doesn't have to be tedious, and I'm here to show you that it can be fun and interesting.

We will have one big project at the end in which I will want my students to group up and work together to present to the class. This will give you all a chance to use presentation software. It will give you a chance to use the library and all is resources. During the school year, we will look at one broad topic at a time. I will provide you with study content such as videos and flash card web resources. I look forward to working with you and helping to build a great generation of scientists!

There is always one more puppy to save~
Science is fun!!!
